Frequently asked questions
Are my PDF files uploaded?
No. The merge operation runs locally in your browser. Your PDF files are not sent to the YourPDFs server.
Does merging reduce PDF quality?
The pages are copied into a new PDF rather than rendered as screenshots, so normal page quality is preserved.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not currently. Remove protection using a trusted tool you are authorized to use, then merge the unprotected copies.
Can I change the file order?
Yes. Reorder the selected files before merging; their pages will appear in that same order in the final PDF.
