This tool embeds an image of your handwritten signature into the PDF. It does not create a certificate-backed digital signature, identity verification, timestamp, or cryptographic tamper seal.
Add a handwritten signature image to a PDF
Use this tool when you need to place a visible image of your handwritten signature onto a PDF, such as an approval form, acknowledgement, simple agreement, or document that accepts an inserted signature image. You draw the signature with a mouse, stylus, or touch screen, choose where it should appear, and YourPDFs embeds that image into a new PDF copy locally in your browser. This is intentionally different from a certificate-backed digital-signature system: it does not verify identity, create a cryptographic seal, or prove whether the document was altered later.

Frequently asked questions
Is this a legally binding digital signature?
YourPDFs does not determine legal validity. This feature places a visible handwritten signature image in the PDF; it is not a certificate-backed digital-signature system.
Does the signature leave my device?
The signature canvas and PDF manipulation run in your browser and are not uploaded to a YourPDFs server.
Can I place the signature anywhere on the page?
This version offers bottom-left, bottom-center, and bottom-right placement on the last page, all pages, or a selected page.
Does this lock the PDF after signing?
No. The signature image is embedded into the PDF, but this tool does not encrypt or cryptographically lock the document.
Can I sign a specific page?
Yes. Choose Specific page and enter a valid page number, or place the signature on the last page or all pages. Position choices are currently limited to the bottom-left, bottom-center, or bottom-right.
Should I use this for documents that require verified digital signatures?
No. If the recipient requires certificate validation, identity verification, trusted timestamps, or a tamper-evident cryptographic signature, use a dedicated digital-signature service that provides those controls.
